Steve and Kris will be performing at the Old Wagon Campground 'behind the barn' Friday July 3 7-10 pm instead of Saturday July 4 6-8 pm. We are really looking forward to seeing everyone enjoying our musical memory tour- should be a blast!!! (4th of July... blast... get it?)

SOMEDAY IS TODAY hits the air waves!

Yes, indeed- For those of you who haven't heard Steve's new single, you can listen to it on the airwaves!! If you have never requested a song on the radio before, you will be surprised at how easy it is to do. Just call KDMA radio station AM1460 out of Montevideo- 320 269-8815. Ask to hear the song "Someday is Today" by local artist Steve Mahlum- on the 'America' CD. Turn your radio on to 1460 on your AM dial and listen for "Someday is Today!" Steve signed on with Hilltop Productions out of California last year and his original song was recorded and arranged by the production company's musicians. You won't believe how incredible it sounds! "It is so surreal!" stated Steve when he heard his song for the first time on the radio. What a dream come true- We are so proud of you Steve!!!!!!

We are at it again!

On Tuesday April 7th 2009 Steve and Kris are honored to be the featured entertainment for the Area Cancer Survivor's Dinner held at the Willmar American Legion. The evening's guests will be a true inspiration to all who attend. All proceeds will be donated to 'Relay for Life.' For all who know Steve and Kris, you know that both have been directly affected by this cause and have raised money countless times to help in the fight for a cure. Steve's son Eric is part of the Mayo Cancer Research team. They work diligently to find a cure for a disease that takes too many of our loved ones. Kris won her battle with cancer 5 years ago. Come on out to hear the stories of the survivors and help celebrate their lives. Music is provided after the dinner.

Steve and Kris really enjoy adding songs to our show and are asking YOU to let us know which ones bring back good memories for you. Steve and Kris at Lulu Beans!!!!

Hey, It's Kris here with some good news! We will be playing at our favorite local coffee shop Lulu Beans 7-9 on Saturday March 21. Steve and I have been itching to play in the worst way! We can't wait!!!! Hope everyone can make it down there. It would be great to see everyone- winter has simply been too long. It is time to look forward to a spring thaw:) Come on down to the coffee shop and order a nice warm cup of java. Close your eyes and hum along to the tunes we play from our musical memory tour!

Chippewa County Fair 2008

Monday was so much fun doing our show at the fair! Thanks to everyone who came out and listened.. Also Congratulations to all the talent contest participants. It is Always a pleasure to meet new talent...
And Tuesday... With Jimmy Fortune asking us to be a part of his show..It Just Does Not Get Any Better Than That.. Thanks so very very much Jimmy and Nina! It will be a cherished memory forever for both Kris and I..

MARATHON WEEKEND!

I would like to personally thank all of the wonderful people that came to the four shows Kris and I(along with Jay on two of them) did this past weekend. It was fantastic to get out and see all of you plus the great weather we had to work with. Happy Birthday Suzie! Many thanks to Cecilia and the Entrepreneurs Network. Kerkhoven celebration in the park was like the very best and the Willmar Car CLub WOW what a fun time with Paul and his crew.

Also Sacred Heart Summerfest was really a great time -thanks to Paul and Liz for their never ending support. And talk about support-- what about our photographer!!!! Candy!! Yay great pics from the party and by the way thank you for replying to these posts. If anyone wants to say anything back to us just click on the little icon after these words and write back. Congratulations Steve Mahlum!

Join me in congratulating Steve on receiving a National Recording Contract from Hollywood California with his original song, "Someday is Today!" I have always been so blessed to be a part of a musical performance team with Steve. Now, all of his hard work in writing music is paying off. You can only imagine just how gratifying it is to write music from your heart and soul and then be recognized for your work. No matter what Steve decides to do with his musical writings, he will always have the support from everyone. We will always be excited to perform at that next gig. A special thank you to all of you who keep up with our schedule and manage to always be there when we perform. You are true treasures!
